Sand Valley
Interiors for Mammoth Bar and Aldo's Farm & Table at Sand Valley, a world class golf resort sprawling across 12,000 acres of sand dunes in central Wisconsin. Inspired by conservationist Aldo Leopold's legacy in the surrounding landscape, the design balances rustic barn vernacular with modern elegance for a global clientele of discerning golfers.
Mammoth Bar is anchored by a monumental charred oak bar wrapped in geometric cement tile, a subtle homage to the Ho-Chunk Nation who originally settled this land. Reclaimed wood walls rise to meet the soaring timber structure, while floor to ceiling windows frame views across the preserved wilderness. Leather bar stools invite gathering after long days on the links.
Aldo's dining room embraces warmth and simplicity with bleached ash tables beneath exposed solid ash beams. Charcoal gray upholstered walls provide a backdrop for photography celebrating the region's agricultural heritage. Throughout both spaces, subtle motifs inspired by the Ho-Chunk Nation weave through the design, reinforcing the connection between hospitality and the rugged, majestic landscape beyond.
